3 years ago I had a large tribal tattoo done in Colombia (sterile needles etc), the tattoo artist didn't do a very good job and it hurt like hell. He had to go deep with the needles as my skin had trouble taking the ink. The tattoo covers the right of my chest, part of my upper arm and shoulder/shoulder blade area.
Needless to say I had the tattoo redone when I got home. Same again, hurt like hell, and my skin didn't take the ink well. 3 years later, I have noticed over the past few weeks that part of the tattoo, mostly the shoulder/shoulder blade area is slightly raised/bumpy.
Alarms bells are ringing in my head that this is skin cancer, but I have read online from various places that there is no evidence to prove tattoos cause cancer.
Going to visit my doctor to get advice, but anyone got any info?
Cheers all
