Nexus 4 anyone getting one?

From looking around on the net, Google aren't committing to anything other than 'weeks' for the Nexus 4 to come back in stock.

I've sold my S3 and am back to my Sensation XE until I can find one. I refuse to pay over inflated prices ala eBay and I contemplated getting a Lumia in the interim just to have a play but the app support just isn't there so I guess I'm in the queue for now.

Google would be foolish to not have them back in stock shortly so that they can take and fulfill orders in time for Christmas.

Interested in your verdict, but seeing as the price for the Nexus 4 is lower new than it is to sell the S3 second hand. I'm not convinced it's the 'upgrade' for me.
The 2 phones are so closely matched - is it worth it? The Nexus is the better value for money - but is it really worth swapping for an S3?

I can clearly see clincher for you was the TV gained for signing a contract.

Indeed the tv deal was a clincher.. i may have a buyer for it already meaning the phone may have cost me not much more than £150 lol

I dont think i could say much more that what emu posted earlier as i agree with what he said.

I never really settled with the S3 with it being plastic, having had an iphone 4 for 2 years it didnt have that build quality. There's no doubt the S3 is a nice phone, just not for me.

Nexus 4 is pure android, and even though i'm an android newbie i definitely prefer it to samsung's touchwiz version.

The screen of the S3 was too over saturated for my liking whereas the nexus for me is spot on.

As emu says, its very smooth to use and certainly worth more than what its selling for!

4-5 weeks was shown on the pages I had open and I've ordered one.

...the 'Add to Cart' option is still there!

Interestingly, the confirmation email states "You've made a purchase on Google Play. You will not be charged until your order has shipped." and "Estimated Ship: 4-5 weeks".

Just checked my online banking and £239 + £9.99 shipping has been deducted from my account. Should I then presume that it's been shipped instantly

My nexus 10 didn't come off my account until it shipped. Managed to order a 4" too so will wait, 2-4 weeks for me.

It states that you won'tbe charged until payment has been taken, but as per my previous post I've already been charged. I haven't received any further emails other than the order confirmation.

I was taking a shit at 5:30pm only to see an email subscription for this thread that they were going on sale at 5pm. Ran back to my desk and managed to bag one. Now I just have to sit it out for 4-5 weeks.
