    Help webpage keeps flagging virus

    hi all,

DO NOT CLICK on this LINK UNLESS you certain it wont cause you any problems as flags up as virused

often visit the following site on url

now i use malwarebytes and Eset Nod32 and nod32 always picks up this, quarantines and cuts connections which is how program is setup

question is, is this a false positive or do need to tell site owner as sick of not being able to access

    flags it as html/iframe.b.gen virus

    any advice guys ?

Nothing for me but I do use http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm to block adds etc as I find it better than anything else.

    I'd say false positive:

    Normalized URL: http://www.mobilenewscwp.co.uk/
    Detection ratio: 0 / 30
    Analysis date: 2012-11-26 19:17:04 UTC ( 1 minute ago )
File scan: The URL response content could not be retrieved or it is some text format (HTML, XML, CSV, TXT, etc.), hence, it was not enqueued for antivirus scanning.

Also Avast picks up nothing whereas it is usually more sensitive than most AVs, MSE in particular.

I would contact the site owner about this, as something is causing them to lose traffic and I'm certain they would appreciate the heads up.
I have a feeling its connected with the 'Gadget Helpline Blog' feed they have down the right hand side.

In the mean time, you could always load their content/articles via their RSS Feed...
    http://www.mobilenewscwp.co.uk/category/news/feed

Or the mobile version of their site
    http://www.mobilenewscwp.co.uk/?wptap_view=mobile

The site itself is maintained by http://www.datacareltd.net/, so really they should know better.

    Thanks to DejaVu
