Printer Waste Ink pads nearing end of service life

My epson sx130 printer is reporting

The printer's ink pads are nearing the end of their service life. Please contact Epson support.

I seen utilities you get free and but pay for a key to reset and utilities that you pay for. But, is there a free way to reset the counter?

I've sussed it! if anyone else is interested in the utiliy it's attached. (For Epson SX125 and SX130)

Install printer if not already installed.
Download and extract attached file into a folder on your hard drive.
Run 'AdjProg.exe' and click 'Accept' on the splash screen then click on 'Select' at the top.
From the pull down boxes, select 'Epson Stylus TX121' for 'Model Name' and 'ESP' for 'Destination', click 'OK'.
Click 'Particular adjustment mode' then from the '---- Maintenance ----' section, select 'Waste ink pad counter' then click 'OK'.
Click 'Check' on the bottom right, this will query the printer and give information of ink shots and so on.
Tick the two boxes on the left, 'Main Pad Counter' and 'FL Box Counter', then click 'Initialize'.
It should come up with a message abut restarting your printer, do it!

hum no way to make it working: I click Accept and the no printers appear if i press Select.

I have an epson sx130 and windows xp without antivirus or any other program activated.
