hp laptop headache

ok so i tried diff ram yesterday no cigar ... tried today and we at 26% fingers crossed guys (also thank you for all your help during my headache)

success cleared cmos and changed ram , currently running w7 like a beaut, just installing updates thanks people

Now once fully updated backup it with a good backup utility

any good back up utilities u could recommend ?

I reckon it was the BIOS update that did it - along with clearing the CMOS.

Backup using Arconis. Save reinstalling Windows from scratch again.

i didnt update the bios in the end coz it would not accept the install through startup for some reason , i am going to update the bios today tho ;P
