sounds like the site has blocked some ip addresses now because of sky not using fixed ip then one you are currently using is blocked, email the site owner they should know

For people having problems, check your WAN address in your router, and I bet it will start with 2.x.x.x

Problem is 2.x.x.x was classified as a bogon network (invalid) until a few years ago, yet surprisingly not everything has been updated to take care of this.

I've found this problem with fonality (people who make trixbox) which I found shocking for a company dealing with network technologies, and they didn't even bother to reply when I told them of this, forget about fixing their broken kit.

The real pita is since Sky changed to MER then back to PPPoA, ip addresses seem to be very sticky so if you just reboot your router or even leave it off for half an hour, you will almost certainly get the same ip address.

good point, i dont use the normal sky router just ripped my details from it and use my netgear

Your wan address will be assigned by dhcp and will change from time to time. You can get static wan ip's but I don't believe sky do them. Sky router will show it you click on the maintenance tab and look for the ip address of the adsl port.

Don't mix this up with your lan (internal) ip addresses - default lan address for sky router for example is 192.168.0.1

snap never used mine they are shit - my sky router was binned as soon as I had my details use a draytek

My WAN begins with 2.xxx.xxx.xxx and as I say the site loads fine.
