Looks interesting, I've got a 2 year old LG 60" Plasma and the only thing I can fault it on is the lack of SMART features. With one of these I can stream Netflix, Youtube, Films etc..

Looks interesting. Like the idea but essentially it's just a Raspberry Pi running Android by the looks of it. Might be cheaper to hold out for a decent distro on a Pi than fork out premium bucks for this.

I just like the convenience, at the last count we had 15 devices in the house (laptops, netbooks, desktops, tablets and smartphones) capable of watching movies and surfing the net. Trying to keep all that shit up to date and maintained is a nightmare.

I just want a google TV device and an android port of xbmc that works well... Then I won't need my REVO any longer. If it could work on something the size of a usb stick that plugs into the HDMI port or USB port, that would be a bonus.

Id get a Raspberry pi mate,

Xbmc, credit card sized and very low power.

I bought the MK809 ii and it rocks, far better/faster than my Pi, I would love to put XBMC on it but not sure how as I am totally jealous of AndyMcCoys jailbroken Appletv 2.

Been thinking of getting 1 of these but loads of dodgy sellers on ebay and far east sites seem to always say CPU is more powerful than it actually is, going by reviews

I got from dodgy ebay person in HK but I very happy lol, I have just installed XBMC and its working great, now need to try and put on all the other stuff andy has on his appletv 2 and I be happy (for a short while).

I've ordered an mk809 and was wondering how you go about adding xbmc, It still in the post so if its as easy as going though the app store and installing it, be gentle with the piss taking lol if its not do you do it via repo or ssh or something?

any help would be appreciated, I've done some searching and there seems to be some conflicting info about xbmc's compatability

btw ive got a smart tv but its shite the apps are slow and the ui looks like its from 2004, this looks awesome in comparison with my samsungs smarttv offering
