      Default Divx encoder

      Hi guys.
      Can anyone recommend a divx encoder? I want to re-encode some videos so that they will play on my DVD player that has a USB socket.

      I used to use AutoGK for all mine. It has an option to make stand-alone compliant XVID files, they all used to work on my DVD player.

      I think the last version released was 2.55

      Said it here before, Freemake is a golden secret.

      Ignore what you think the site looks like or whatever. It's got a very low footprint and just works at everything, no fannying about.
      Choose a file, choose an output.

      +1 for freemake a simple and easy to use program just dont forget to untick the toolbars etc when installing
