Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7?

I bought the £25 licence and upgraded my Windows 7 PC to Windows 8.

Problem is that I use Plex to watch $ky Go which we all know doesn't work on W8 (You can make it work in a browser, not Plex).

So...

Is it possible to downgrade to Windows 7 without losing everything? (Not interested in Downgrade rights...want to save the licence for future use).

Google just brings up conceptual licencing crap...

Doesn't appear to be a downgrade process which retains data, apps, settings etc. The guide I just read for you said to backup data and then install windows 7 as usual. Makes sense as I imagine a lot of Windows 8 stuff wouldn't be backwards compatible.

if you ran a win 8 upgrade over win 7 then you should be able to roll back. check your uninstall list in control panel/programs and features.

if you done flat install then you cant roll back.
