Creating a logo - ideas?

I'm helping a friend design a website for his recently opened dental surgery. I've agreed with him some ideas for the logo but my creative skills aren't any match for my technical skills.

The surgery is called Hall Craig Dental Care, we thought that a logo with the initials HCDC and the full name below it would look good.

I've tried out a few design in some subtle colours but not having any luck - any of you guys with some creativity got any suggestions?

Yeah need to know the website colours, fonts etc to make it fit, show us what you got and sure someone can make it look smokin'

Give http://99designs.co.uk/ a bash - Designers will create a logos, you get friends to vote on them and choose the best one. friend of mine recently used them and they were ace!

Here is my rather poor attempt, unfortunately I'm useless at this sort of thing.

If anyone has a spare 10 minutes to make something at least semi-professional looking, I'd really appreciate it.

Could perhaps do with some work on the font size and maybe a bit more colour, what you think?
