Updating Freestyle dash...info needed.

I have a couple of Jasper rgh's I want to update fsd on, I think they are currently on 2.2 and I want to update to fsd 3.

My question can you update them via usb auto installer without losing all the games on the official hdd?

Would I be ok to just create a fsd3 folder on the hdd, put files in there and install from there and then install the 735 plugin, or will this wipe everything I have on the harddrive?

I'm pretty sure I used the installer so you'll be ok.. you may have to redo your paths though for your game locations and then do a full scan for artwork.

If you want to keep your fsd for now and install fsd3 the easiest/safest way is make another folder on the hd eg fsd3, install the program and folders in there and run the latest dashlaunch to point at the newly installed fsd3, dont forget to do a scan on first boot. Its easy to use with new ui no need to set .ini files.
you can also set one of the controller button to boot your old fsd2 when held at boot incase of issues.

I updated my dash and FSD few weeks back, can't remember how i did it now, but it was easy
just remember if using usb it's the back usb ports on xbox that you use
