Toshiba 32in LCD fix??

My dads tv has a fault when you first switch it on. It comes up with the following picture then slowly from the top of the screen after about 10 minutes the full picture comes on. Any ideas where to start looking. Although the photo is yellow and white it does differ to what is actually on screen depending as to what show is on.Attachment 27158

Funny, my mum is complaining of exactly the same fault on hers!

just had a look on the Tosh dealer tech site and there's no common problem on the model. But it'll be either the Tcon PCB or the panel itself. My £s on the panel.

I'll give Tosh a buzz in the morning to see if they can shed some light on the issue. Usually very good with contributions to the repair cost.

FYI, I had problems with a Tosh TV years ago, had to contact Toshiba CS and found their customer service to be the best I have ever experienced upto then and since.
My warranty had expired but I basically emailed a manager (got details off web) saying that a product of this value only just outlasting its warranty was very poor e.t.c

He agreed, he arranged for a local firm to collect the TV, leave a loan set and return after it was repaired.. the manager even phoned after all this to apologise for it breaking and check I was happy e.t.c
Now that is going above and beyond IMHO.. credit to em !!

My brother had the same problem with a Tosh LCD it was the panel and the retailer offered and 42" Panasonic Plasma as a replacement he bit his hand off
