A friend found a giant house spider (Tegenaria gigantica) that he photographed (he doesn't particularly like them) and I said I would try and get my spider lady on my hand (they are gentle creatures really...) and when I checked the outhouse, she was there!
So here is the female giant spider, on the wall joint first and then 3 photo's where she's on my hand - quite tough to get these cos she just kept walking up and down my arm and I had to keep moving her back from off my sleeve (and once from my shoulder!) onto my hand loads of times just to get some shots in focus!
