Trailer Park Boys sign on for third film

Actors John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells and Mike Smith have signed on for a third Trailer Park Boys feature film. They will reunite with director Mike Clattenburg, with production slated to begin in March 2013.
“We are all extremely pleased to be working together again on another Trailer Park Boys film,” says producer Barrie Dunn, in a news release.
“Although it’s been four years since our last film, Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are as popular as ever, even expanding internationally, and we’re delighted to bring them back to the big screen.”
Originally the concept of creator-director Clattenburg, Trailer Park Boys began as a short film starring Tremblay (Julian) and Wells (Ricky). It debuted to rave reviews at the 1999 Atlantic Film Festival. The premise: a camera crew chronicles the boys’ adventures living in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth.
Recruiting Smith (Bubbles) to complete the haphazard trio, the idea spun off a mockumentary- style show, which ran for seven seasons and produced two TV specials on Showcase (2001-2008). The show was Showcase’s highest-rated Canadian program and airs in over 15 countries. Guest stars included Rush’s Alex Lifeson, Sebastian Bach and Rita MacNeil.
Ricky, Julian and Bubbles’ first full-length film Trailer Park Boys: The Movie hit theatres in 2007 and the follow-up Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day served as a finale to the series in 2009.

The third installment of the Trailer Park Boys franchise will see the trio of stoners launch their own Internet TV network.

2nd movie is great, watched the live in dublin show recently and wasnt much for it (its in netflix) but everything else they have done is superb

Both flms and the full series is on netflix US, the shows and one film is on the UK netflix, watched them all 2 or 3 times now.. class

TORONTO - Canada’s most notorious boys are back and driving fans wild.
Hot off their appearance in Thursday’s Toronto Sun as SUNshine Boys, the Trailer Park Boys were out in Yonge-Dundas Square Thursday afternoon to promote their new movie, Swearnet.
Mike Smith (Bubbles), Robb Wells (Ricky), J.P. Tremblay (Julian) and Swearman (Patrick Roach aka Randy) got a wild reception when they exited a van in front of the Hardrock Cafe.
The boys were also handing out copies of the Sun.
“Here you go, get a paper, we’re in here,” Smith said as people scooped up the paper and sought autographs.
The boys also poised graciously for selfies with fans of all ages.
Thursday night the boys walked the red carpet at the premiere of Swearnet, in which they play themselves — freed from their Trailer Park Boys personas.
“We are so damn excited about unleashing Swearnet worldwide,” Smith said.
“It’s going to be f---ing tremendous.”
The film opens to the public Aug. 29 and moviegoers can expect a lot of full-frontal nudity, booze and, of course, swearing.

I've not watched any of the above yet as I'm currently working through the old seasons first again to refresh.

Watched the first two episodes of season 8 and it's back to it's best. There's a new character who is piss funny and Randy's relationship with Mr Leahy gets even fucking funnier, especially in episode 2. The movie was good too, watched that a couple of weeks ago.
