The third one gets my vote too, the light painting ones haven't come out too well tbh, great as an experiment but not the kind of thing you'll end up leaving on your portfolio long.

Yeah, it's always fun trying out some new stuff. If you get a chance have a go with some projected images and models, a friend of mine let me use his kit a few times and it can get some killer results and far easier than trying to light paint patterns on a model. Just been checking our want to work with list on pp, looks like we have a few in common

To be fair the painting the paterns was easy and were quick the others like the ones with the shoes in were 30 second exposures and every thing was painted with a penlight.
Number 3 was done by putting the light as a spotlight on tye shoes then painting them in with light.then flashed the light up her back.

I must admit, I didn't see any reason to keep the shoes in shot?

It part of a series. I can understand you wont get it. But im not posting up all the pics from a set.

Same as the dinosaur the features. It was ment to be something to focus on so she did not move much in a dark studio and it became a mascot.

I think the light painting made a big change from normal lighting. Lets be honest and one can chuck up a few softboxes and make a photo following a few rules of composition.
I wanted to try something different and difficult. The shoot was 2 hours long and I cant wait to get more time trying it again. The model was having fun as she could see the pics strait away as I was shooting tethered.

The thing I liked about it the most was the ability to put in and remove shadows as I wanted
