Default An image I've wanted for quite a while (and some others)

I have never managed to capture a ladybird/bug just about to take off in a natural environment. Today I finally got it and I am very pleased.

These were all taken with my 100 F2.8L and a 12mm Ext. Tube attached. Single images at F11
. Images might look soft on a screen with a smaller resolution as VBulletin (for DF) auto-downsizes images.... badly.

And some other shots of the same ladybird prior to its flight

Very similar shot only on a different leaf.

A little jumper on our fence

    And a fly

...here's one that I didn't quite succeed on although the wing movement is nice

    9 Thanks given to dpSparhawk

Love the 1st one mate, not something that is usually captured, usually it's just too quick...

    Thanks to chesser

They're a lot prettier with the wings down aren't they! Ugly blighters. Great piccy though, looks like something off an Attenborough program.

    Thanks to si-amigo

Quite the cute looking critter with their wings down. Rather freaky looking when in take off mode

    Thanks mate

The spider was on a fence post and I've just rotated it 90deg clockwise and it still looks good (ya know when sometimes you rotated an image it looks odd? )

    Thanks to dpSparhawk
