I've used the site for a few years and never had a problem, shows my history and everything tallys. Also had a free trial with one of the others, creditexpert I think, which matched.

The Wonga searches are more often than not fraudsters trying to get a loan in your name.
They request the loan to one account and the repayment to be made from your account. They get the your account number and sort code from PDQ swipes and cheques.

Every time you enter your details into a comparison site for car insurance you will ping a ID check on your credit reference. Only you can see this, not other companies.
Should add Callcredit who supply the data are the minor credit reference agency. Most financial institutions use Experian or Equifax. The other thing is the score you get isn't the score the lender sees.
