Bethesda has announced a brand new Wolfenstein game from the recently created Machine Games - Wolfenstein: The New Order. It's out Q4 2013, and "is a reimagining of this franchise - offering players a gripping and dramatic experience." "The game is being developed by MachineGamesTM, a studio comprised of seasoned developers known for creating compelling, critically-acclaimed story-driven games," reads the release. The game will launch on both current and next generation consoles. The New Order takes place in an alternate universe in which the Nazis won World War 2. Players take control of series frontman B.J. Blazkowicz, and must set about kicking the Hun's face off - both on Earth "and beyond". Expect both stealth infiltration and pyrotechnic horseplay care of various Nazi "super-weapons".
"We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere," said Jens Matthies, creative director at Machine Games. "As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud."
