got a samsung galaxy s4 from t-mobile
ive not opened it, is it like the iphone and open to all networks until
the first sim card is put in it then it locks to that
or is it locked to t-mobile always cheers

Welcome back to DF!!
Your phone will be networked locked to T-Mobile, but there are very easy 'ways and means'.
XDA Devs are a pretty amazing lot.
