Got back a few days ago from a hiking trip up at Cape Wrath in the very far North West of Scotland - http://goo.gl/maps/3atoC. I went there a few years ago and once again, was very fortunate enough to get glorious sunshine when we stayed at the Bothy on Kearvaig Bay.
The Kyle of Durness - Taken from the Pier on the Cape Wrath side
Kearvaig Bay
A tobacco sunset from Kearvaig Bay
Getting more towards a glorious orange sundown.
The final few hundred yards to the Cape Wrath lighthouse
Cape Wrath Lighthouse - I struggled with the exposure on this one I have to admit.
Very remote landscape on the Cape Wrath peninsula.
Overlooking Kearvaig bay (and a tiny white dot which is the bothy we stayed in) from nearby the Cape Wrath lighthouse - This is the very furthest north westerly point of the British mainland.
