Must have Apps and Games (unRooted / Rooted)

Hi Guys,

I was going to ask what the "must" have applications and games where for Android, now that I have finally rooted my Nexus 4. The reason for is was because the information is scattered all over the Android forum, I thought I would create a "master list" of all of the recommended applications and games for Android.

This information is compiled from other threads and my own suggestions..

That's a pay for app, NZBunity is free and does the same.

NZB Unity is OK, but I prefer NZB360 for it's support for Newznab

Matter of opinion, but I do enjoy Miniclip's 8 Ball Pool. No need to be rooted either.

Power Toggle is great for giving you shortcuts on your home screen and "pull down menu thing" to most of the Android functions. I also use Navfree alot (free off line satnav - no fee's using abroad)

Nav free is a great free app, use it regularly and never had any probs.

Worked when I tested it ages ago. Haven't had the need for it since.

Re faceniff. Same here. Only just got my first android device beginning of this year, thought I'd give it a try, but as yet not been able to see anything

I'm bumping this thread as I have just received my Nexus 4 back from the insurers at it is completely fresh which is lovely!! I've installed a couple of things, hardly anything from this list at the moment.

Any updates our new suggestions??

I run dodol as my launcher at the moment but everything else is pretty much simple day to day stuff for me, dictionary, translation software. Oh, one cool thing I found is the MyBoy GBA emulator can emulate the motion sensor now, so I can finnaly replay warioware twisted. That may or may not be of any interest to you

Push Bullet - has a windows client so all notifications on the phone come through to your PC. You can reply to texts from the PC which is handy and even push files to and from pc/phone.
