Did you go for this in the end if you don't mind me asking?
Only you can answer this really.
I'd like to think I would not. But your responsibilities are to your family and yourself. If you want to, give it a go. If it is not what you want/need, use ti as a stepping stone. Pay more then likely to be wonderful due to the company.
Good luck.

Two days and he has not answered the question.. Has anyone read the Passage? He might have become a 'subject'!!!!!
I know it is an old thread but I never saw it. I would go for it.. I noticed the 'I want an on shore job' meaning you work off shore.. How many animals have been killed/poisoned etc by tankers leaking? How many wars have the yanks gone into over oil (I presume it is the oil industry?) and how many innocents have dies as a result?
At least I know where to send the fox that has been terrorising me lately once I catch it!
We all make mistakes sometimes

FFS just noticed this thread I posted ages ago. Na I never went for it. I had another job interview at the same time they wanted an answer, so I went to the other interview which in my opinion was far more worthwhile. Needless to say I never took either of them, and I've decided to stay at sea for another few years not that I have found a good ship and crew and which doesn't have a cunt of a chief engineer.
If the other interview hadn't popped up I still dont think I would have taken it, I couldn't work in an environment like that
