Pre ordered both, but off loaded my x-box pre order on e-bay over the weekend and made a nice profit

Getting PS4 as are most of my mates, which is all that really matters as ill be wanting to play as much online with them than randoms

End of the day, whichever console people opt for, I'm sure they will be chuffed to bits. Don't see myself getting one until at least half-way in to next year but still looking likely to be a PS4 and maybe a couple years after that an XBOX ONE.

Like I mentioned a while ago in the other thread if you wanted a console for pure brute force then you might as well get a PC cause the graphics are always gonna be higher and games are more likely to support higher graphics there too, its why I opted for the Xbone cause it has the highest level of innovation.

Any of the ones who ordered the ps4 getting twitchy when reading about the "loud minority" of americans who have been delivered faulty 1st day release units. Seems to be something up with the HDMI socket in most cases but it is a case of return and wait until its fixed or replaced. Bit of a bummer if you had your heart set for a gaming session with your day 1 console. Don't get me wrong we all know that this will happen with new tech and it will happen to xboxone too no doubt. But with the ps4 being the 1st out the door it gives the media something to write about - Here is some bloke moaning on youtube about his - He actually turns the thing on at 1 min in...so skip to that. (Also if you want a giggle at fanboys in action head over to the playstation forums where you will see microsofts fanboys giving it the "I told ya so" to these poor buggers with fooked up ps4's) - 55 pages worth of unhappy peeps on this thread - http://community.us.playstation.com/...2503#U42122503

Always going to be flaming over issues, problems with the network, broken consoles etc on both consoles and releases it just gives them something to do while not cry wanking over the console they have.

Personaly can't wait for both consoles. The only issues i have are with Game who seem to be getting greedier by the day before launch's. There trade in on consoles/games has hit rock bottom now only to be expected though.

Initially i was going to get a Xbox one at launch, i've now cancelled that and will be getting a PS4 next week, i'll still get an Xbox but will wait until the new year.

I never get anything at launch. Wait for hardware revisions to solve teething issues with launch, a price cut or two and a bigger catalogue of games to go through :-)

Got my ps4 it's so much quicker then the ps3, the difference is disgusting. It's VERY fluid switching from the menu to in game etc. I currently have cod and nba.

NBA looks the shit and plays awesome.

Cod is cod. The jump from ps3 ghosts to ps4 ghosts is quite big.

The console itself is quite smaller then the ps3(even the box is smaller) it's a lot more quieter but I have heard the fans kick off.

The pad is so much better then the dual shock 3. It feels premium and looks it. IMO the handle bars are to small as my little finger sticks out a little bit.

The internet browser is better but there is no flash.
