New hack advice... Rgh, xk3y or other?

I am getting a slim this week (think its corona) and am just considering best way to mod it - rgh or a xk3y or alternative.

I will use the Xbox as a media centre extender and for games off a hard drive not for gaming on live

Any advice on best course of action? As it will be an extender I am concerned about long boot times with rgh angering the mrs, but it's cheaper and more flexible as I could use an internal drive.

Anyone got a view on best options or things to consider with either?

RGH all the way... xk3y works out way too expensive for the limited things you can do with it...

xk3y = play backup games

RGH = play backup games, homebrew, emulators, XBLA games, etc

Boot time wise make sure who ever installs your RGH ask for a CR3 pro..... Best boot times by far for the little extra expense over standard RGH.

Right it's a sept 2012 machine and def corona I assume v4 given age. It's a 4gb machine with dash 2.016203.0.

I assume I can buy a 1tb or larger drive and drop it in a caddy to install once the machine is rgh'd?

Yep will work fine.
