Bad headache for days .....

Just been speaking to docs after having a headache since saturday night.. it seems to be changing to be more neck pain and stiff neck now but doc has sent me to go get an eye test then come back...

Fucks sake.. we all know that means she is checking for pressure behind my eyes... now I am super fucking stressed

Not getting any other symptoms tho to indicate tumour.. suck as vision probs, numbness.

Think I better go down the offy and get a bottle of something strong :-(

Don't get worked up mate, it's standard practise to have an eye test if you are experiencing head aches.

Currently taking Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and 2x 30mg Codeine...every 4 hours and its doing very little


Never my entire life had headaches that I can think of so I may be overreacting this might be a completely normal run of the mill headache but for 4 days??? that cant be normal.. feels like my head is in a vice

you aint stopped taking something you are very used to, maybe caffine? i know i got headaches when i stopped for a while but thats cuz i was drinking loads of it, maybe you have cut back on sugar or booze? or it could just simply be the fact the heat is hitting you hard

Did wonder about the heat.... its not caffeine... I cant go without that.. Prolly turn out to be nothing.. or what usually happens is it stops the day before you have an appointment to get it looked at lol

Tried telling the missus it could be blow job withdrawal but that didn't go down too well..
I said you'll regret it if it turns out to be a full blown tumor.. still no dice !!

If turns out to be this then I find the only thing that shifts my headaches is a couple Co-codamol 30/500 mg.


On a positive note I can safely say it won't be a brain tumour, as going by the bollox you post on DF, there isn't much for a tumour to take hold on.

Codeine which I am taking is 10 times stronger than co-codamol as far as I am aware... I believe co-co-damol is 3mg of Codeine mixed with 200mg of paracetamol....
Pure codeien is 30mg per tab

I think I have plenty... I would guess 5 pints minimum.. usually in the form of squash as the water round here tastes like shit... although I do partake of evian

I suffer with bad headaches/migraines but mine are due to a condition called Keratoconus,
The only way to get rid I've found is 3-4 30/500 co-codamol every 3 hours and sit in I a darkened room with a cold compress resting across my forehead and eyes

I would say the heat is a factor as mentioned.

Had a bout of these myself recently, started seeing little dots a lot. I just manned up... Well I say manned up, still trying...
