Don't agree... They cleverly put the 'offers' in your face on the site.. Plus on Ocado for sure they say at the end 'Did you forget this...'
And as a result of you not having to pick them/pack them you put them in your basket!
We all make mistakes sometimes
Called in ours tonight and they've just started it too. Very quick process. Scan and pack into bags in the trolley as you go round. They gave us plastic bags but hinted you ought to be bringing your own. Checkout at a special area (just like the self-serve area but decorated with wood veneer..) you scan in at the till to end your shop, all the details come up on the screen, you pay and fuck off. Virtually no human contact needed - perfect.
Not really, I just click through it without even looking and checkout.
Less likely to buy extra rubbish than in store with their positioning for sale items. A lot if work goes into tapping into human nature for product placement etc.
Online you just buy what you intend to.
Its not for everyone, but I certainly prefer it to any supermarket experience.
