    Default Sim card for USA

Thought I saw a thread on here a few months back about sim cards for America.

Going on holiday to Florida next week and just want a cheap PAYG with a few minutes, texts & a bit of data.

    Any recommendations?

There was one here the other day which I seem unable to find again (though UI havent looked very hard).
PAYG phones tend to start with 300 minutes inclusive and are about 30 dollars. I tend to go for NET10's.... Walmart or Target are the cheapest places to buy. Minutes are used for calls either way, either making or receiving., and a text message takes up 1 minute of airtime. International calls are charged at time and a half (or they were last time I used one).
Last time I used one though, they had blocked international text messaging, which was annoying. Data though was non existent. I have yet to find one that has it, and ny bolt-on's were extremely expensive.

Edit, here is the other thread... http://www.digital-forums.com/showth...-go-in-the-usa

Im in Florida now and you`ll not get a payg with data included Its 35p to send a text to the uk from here using my normal "3" contract which isnt too bad and 1.40 min to talk and 99p a min to receive a call. I just use whats app with the wifi here to keep in touch with folks back home.
