Riley the dog may have set tongues wagging after his unveiling a few month's back, but now Activision is finally ready to show their hand and announce what new additions they're bringing to Call of Duty: Ghosts' multiplayer mode. As previously rumoured, Ghosts' multiplayer reveal is set to premiere on 14th August at 10:30am PDT, during an hour-long livestream event that will "go in-depth on all things multiplayer" and include multiple "world premiere announcements," according to IGN.

There's been very little information shared on COD: Ghosts multiplayer offering so far, though Activision has previously confirmed that multiplayer maps in the game will feature dynamic elements, such as earthquakes and floods, with player actions influencing event outcomes. And, as revealed at the Xbox One unveiling in May, the game's multiplayer mode will feature a character customization system, allowing you to change your avatar's body type, head, and equipment. And, with rumours floating around that fan favourite Spec Ops mode will not ship with Ghosts, could a new co-op mode be introduced at the event too?

Call of Duty: Ghosts launches November 5 for Xbox 360, with an Xbox One version currently in development. If you're planning on picking up a copy, will it be a current gen version, or will you hold out for the Xbox One launch?
