Minecraft mods

Hi, my boy has been playing minecraft on Xbox for some time but keeps seeing mods on YouTube so we have bought him a laptop for his birthday next week and will buy him minecraft.

Does anybody have any advice on installing these mods and best places to grab them please?

are these mods always safe? my boys are forever getting me to enter my admin password on their laptops, sometimes I wonder if these mods are 100% legitimate!

Mods don't work on the Xbox version mate , my boys been playing it for years on the pc .
It's not really the same game on the Xbox tbh . Minecraft is a complete work of genius."Same with roblox , both games are organic and are 90% usr created ,they even get the player to pay to create content .
and everyone's I.Ps are fare game . Even Nintendo turn a blind eye , as they now see it as free advertising .

peter molyneux agrees ,but that shouldn't put anyone off .. As he's usually full of shit , but he's spot on about minecraft

He is really enjoying it on his new laptop, got to admit I got into it a little too. You may see my creation on grand designs soon lol. Struggling to get mods to work but will have a go again soon, managed to add some texture packs which look nice.
