    Advice Cabin/hand luggage advice needed

Flying to Italy instead of driving for a change this year and i need some recommendations for cabin/hand luggage, 50 x 40 x 20 cm are Ryanair's maximum dimensions i believe, i've had a look on Amazon but the ones on there get varied reviews, and the last time i flew the bag i had wouldn't fit inside the cage Ryanair have at check in so i had to pay for a full size suitcase, don't want to fall for that again this year, so does anyone on here actually have one, recommend one that gets past Ryanair without any problems?

No, but watch out for the weight of the hand luggage as well, so make sure the bag is not too much of your weight.

Take a tape measure as their cage is often smaller than those measurements. You can prove it to the cunts with a tape measure, without it you are checking in the bag.

My recommendation is: don't fly Ryanair.

If I ended up sat next to a twat wearing one of those jackets, I'd be pissed off.

But... I will never fly Ryanair. I'm scared of flying, so try and stick with BA.

    Thanks to Geko

Yeah Ryanair are wankers of the highest order.

I personally bought the 20" case from Sports Direct. £11.99. Been fine with it on my last few flights. It's a bit larger by 8cm high, but it's never caused me grief.

DJ that case looks good value, the fact that it's 58cm high worries me though, have you actually fit it in one of those cage measurement contraptions?

I would refuse to give Ryanair any more money, but they do sell their own bag

    http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/samsonite-cabin-bag

Won't let me see it until you search for flights. Last month when we were flying back from Poland they were very strict about it not being over 10kg...they weighed each bag twice.

I had 6 beers which put mine to 13.something kg. After much rearranging I managed to get 4 of them in my pockets (could have done with that jacket).

    Thanks to moonrat

LOL, i have been using Ryanair for a bit to see my Dad in Ireland. My old case was the correct size, and never had any problems, unfortunately my case was stolen. So insurance replaced it with an Argos voucher and so i bought http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/9138966.htm
I'm flying with Flybe next week so I'll see how they like it

    Thanks to stevo25
