Agree with Goldberg, Keaton WAS the best. I imagine it must be hard to find someone for the Batman roll, it will be something of a poisoned chalice. . . it's been done to death, stop flogging that deceased equine already!

I'm no fan of the Bale batman, but this is an odd one.

I think this time around we need a batman who can come across as intelligent (given the expected plot and source material) And I've not seen Afleck do that in any role yet...

to be fair I am glad they didn't get Bale to play the role,the superman vs batman thing is a fucking stupid concept and using the same actor would just bring down the standards that were set by Nolan and Bale.

As I said, the story is flawed so it doesn't matter who plays the role, the film will be sh1t.

This is an attempt to follow on the back of avengers and test the waters for DC to think about the justice league.

I don't think that DC has the following to make it a big success. They need box office stars to put bums on seats. They must think that he can provide that.

What I don't get is how they can face off as both of them are 'heroes'' and if one is to be bad they wont be able to make a following film with either as a villain.

Wait and see who they introduce as the villain/s. Expect BIG star name/s....

Never watched the Batman films with Bale in them (at least I don't remember if I did) so can't comment on his skills in Batman but Bale as an actor I have always found excellent..

Maybe superman goes all grumpy and shit as in Superman 3. He has a few drinks and goes flicking peanuts at bottles. But then Batman comes in and challenges him to a game of pool. They then starting arguing over whether one of them produced a foul shot, and then it kicks off. Big style!

As above this cunt is useless for the Batman role but in all honesty this is just an exercise in money printing and brings nothing to either franchise. Affleck was best placed in the View Askew stuff and nowt else.

i for one dont think anyone could best bale at batman so i wasn't going to like anyone who was to replace him but to cast ben affleck as the dark knight as a joke he was rubbish in daredevil . i just hope WB listens to the fans and does a re-cast .
