I bought a drive from them last week and it came at the weekend, ive installed it into a machine and its doa, ive sent a support ticket request but no reply yet which is crap service tbh. they are quick enough to email you for orders.

I don't have a number but share your frustration. I sent back a failed HDD (in warranty) to Seagate at my expense, they sent a DOA replacement which I now have to RMA at my expense again. I bought a new Seagate drive the other week, also DOA so have had to return to the supplier but they sent a courier to collect. I hate the lottery when it comes to HDDs, you never know if it has been damaged in transit as it must pass through so many hands, any of which could mishandle.

I remember a few years ago ordering something like 10 or 12 enterprise class SATA drives. They cost about twice the amount as normal drives as the MTBF was something like 1.2 million years. Was shocked to get 2 DOA's but accepted it was probably the fault of the courier rather than Hitachi.

on further inspection they are now owned by lookwind.co.uk or lookwind ltd which is based in Scotland
further research finds a phone number that never gets answered, streetview shows a dank shittysmall warehouse/unit.

if anyone is thinking of buying from s v p .co.uk please don't. for discs buy from the place that supports df.
