VB.net Epos Source Code

Hi All

I am looking for some source code for a ePos system (touch screen cash register) as I want to create a till for my local club.

I have a touch screen and a cash drawer just need to write the software and would rather start with something than start from scratch.

I know projects are cool etc.. but is it worth it?
I can only imagine you will be constantly pestered when it goes wrong (even if it is hardware and not software failure), when prices change, when new drinks come out etc....
You can get them dirt cheap off eBay.

I know what you are saying but my job is a software developer so I am used to snagging etc I just can be arsed re inventing the wheel so to speak.

There will be add/edit items screens and even wanting stock levels, it would be a good place to beta test something as does seem to be a lucrative market ;-)
