Wordpress Themes Question

Not sure if this can be discussed so will skirt around the issue slightly. If I was to obtain a wordpress theme from one of the usual sources is there anyway it could be found out? Any code written within or anything? Looking at some of the Theme Forest ones

there's a good chance something downloaded from the 'usual places' could have hidden code in it, usually to some porn links etc..

the free plugin called: TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker) scans for links and gives you the location so you can edit/remove them.

Don't use wordpress as I think it's utter shit but have used some of the theme forest ones on Joomla with no probs.. no phoning home, no malware or hidden code etc
Actually .. just remembered have used em in wordpress too where person insisted e.t.c

If you get a NULLED version (It's usually in the release name) then you will probably be okay assuming it's a large group. I've been had a few times on other software skins/templates but it's usually an email saying get it sorted and removed or pay up. Nothing too serious.
