Earwig.... Bilbo's (Paul Iddons) Favourite :D

Spotted this on the wall of our house a couple of nights back so took it inside for a few shots before releasing it back outside.





Placed on one of our kitchen surfaces it found a bread crumb. The surface of course was well washed down afterwards.



An odd composition but I kept it due to the sharpness of the eye.

Nice shots Ian - but if I had released it outside, it would have been via the toilet flushing!!!

Haha, I didn't specify how I released it outside

In fact, it was very much by that method....the flush, I chose to omit that detail from my post over at POTN so as to not upset anyone PMSL!

The Mrs is terrified of Earwigs more than anything... her Grandad used to tell her they snatch your ear drums out when your sleeping....
