Last.fm issues

Hi all,

I assume this is the best section to try and resolve this slight issue I have with last.fm - I love listening to it at work, helps me find new music etc..

Firstly, although the office is in London a quick 'where am I' on Google shows that we are in Winnersh which is another one of our offices outside of London.
It does not end there... For some reason the internet routes through some Dutch servers! All of the Google Ad's and the likes show in Dutch...

This becomes a problem as last.fm does not stream radio in Holland... All of my personal settings are UK/London and it used to work. It is only in the last few weeks it has changed..

No one in IT would have done anything, not with a slap on the wrist in any case. We are a HUGE American IT company with strict practices, so if I was doing wrong then they would have told me about it..

So the question is, how can I get around this? It worked before so surely I must be able to tweak something?

Remote Desktop to home pc and play through that?

if you are that large of a us company then (from experience) they get the hump a bit if you try tinkering with network settings on your desktop.

The desktops are a nightmare! Auto set up for you, I cannot even install Evernote!
Lots of sites blocked, lots of posts on here blocked with certain titles...

If I download a PDF then they want to remote in to see what it is.

Yet I have subsonic on my home server and can play that, so it's content they ban rather than lock ports down.

It's just I like last.fm and would rather not jump through hoops if I don't need to.

If you can install plugins there is one for chrome which you can use to access sites like pandora in the uk, could try and do the same for last.fm. I am not at my PC ATM though.
