This article summed it up pretty well.

Am I in the minority that actually likes it? Sure it isn't as good as the original MMLP but it still has a few good tracks.
My opinion might be biased as it's the only thing on my ipod that's in my car at the moment. I tried to add it to my ipod in a rush on a new laptop. It wiped the rest of my tunes and now I just have MMLP2 on there, fucking itunes cunts.
I like it, it grew on me very quickly, but compared to the MMLP and SSLP it's nowhere near as good!
It's also grown on me quite considerably. As above not on the same level as the others but some absolute bangers!
Technically... I still think he's brilliant. But.... Content is boring and his cadence is annoying.
Been bitching about this on IRC.
What a load of shit.
He's been a talentless fucktard since his first album.
This sounds all the same to me. Hopefully he will give up now, and take some of the other sorry ass rappers with him.

So you're saying Rap god sounds the same as ass hole or rhyme or reason?
"That's why I fucked your bitch you fat mother fucker"
What?!
Sorry I have no clue what that means.
What I am saying is that Eminem had a good first album, while it was fresh and a new style. Since then it's all the same and nothing new. Just like many other "rappers" these days. In fact like much mainstream music is these days. Same old crap. Nothing new. All artists are copies of others and their tracks essentially sound the same.

I had to Google myself..!
I beg to differ on so many levels. Have you actually listened to the album more than one?
Whilst it's far from a new album, there are songs on this album in a style he's never done before, making it original. Maybe you don't read into the lyrics the same as me.
Do me one favour, listen to Legacy twice, and then listen to it a third time as you follow through Rap Genius.

Guarantee you won't think the same about the song.
Perhaps does the same about Beautiful Pain & So Far. I guarantee you will not have the same opinion.
He is trying to experiment and mess with his rhyming pattern. His delivery and rhyming scheme are impressive and he has some good multis . But... Again the content is weak and well trodden. Some of the simplistic words he uses are just embarrassing. It's very childish. It would appeal to my 13 year old son. Plus.... The cadence is what really grinds me. He needs to change that. It's become synonymous with Eminem now. It's very weak.
I admit that song could grow on me. It's catchy. But.... He needed to write a better verse and to deliver it without acting out the angst. I don't believe it is a genuine emotion. It comes across as fake to me.
