    Retro Sega Megadrive peripherals

Wow, just when I thought I had seen them all I keep finding more!!
The Megadrive must have had the most peripherals over any other console ever!

The obvious ones are the Mega CD, the 32X etc... But I thought I have stumbled across some really obscure ones recently!

The Mega Anser which turned it into a Banking Terminal, numerous Pads/Controllers, Sega's own Power Strip, a Baseball Controller which suggests Sega beat Nintendo to the Wii-Mote, a Karaoke Machine Add on, Keyboards, Mice... Seriously check this site out:

I only know of three of those, chair, six button pad and arcade stick.

What a set of bizarre stuff.

I wanted that chair so bad.

Look at the link, I have only scratched the surface with the images. Yes, the chair I was very jealous about as a kid. I wanted it and I wanted it to do what Afterburner 360 did in the arcade!

Code masters had the best idea by putting the extra controller ports on the cartridge for Micro Machines.

it was just Codemasters that did the J-Cart, but they did it for Brian Lara Cricket and also Pete Sampras Tennis as well, great money saver it was because MM2 was the only one worth having 4 player games with and the game cost you no more than any other game which didn't have the J-Cart option
