    Default Virgin package

I've cancelled sky with a view to getting a virgin bundle, still need to deal with the broadband and BT line.

Before I get rid of the essential internet connectivity, does anyone have any serious reason as to why I should stick with sky tv, BT line and Be broadband (and not go for Virgin)...

cable fibre is a lot better than others. I have a few glitches at times like 2 a year but I ring up and complain and get a refund on the months sub.

You will get a far better package by bundling it in with the TV and will lose no service once you have your PAC code

Play Virgin off against sky, when you call virgin say your an existing Sky customer and they will bend over backwards to steal you away.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

Do away with the BT line and Bb but keep ur sky tv. Virgin Bundle even the XL package is b****cks. Very few channels compaired to sky.same chanel 4 or 5times ie bbc bbc+1 bbcHD & bbc HD+1 etc... and Tivo sucks

No reason I can think of.. they are way too expensive.. I've been with Virgin for many years.. a brief flirt for a couple of years with Sky but it was, in my opinion, a rip off and so I went back to Virgin and been with them since.. BT I hate, even when I worked for them, they didn't give toss for their subscribers.
I've also been with BE before but although I rated them, because ADSL service relies so much on BT, that ruined the experience for me when I had to deal with BT and their lack of service dealing with a fault .. for me a no-brainer

    Default Virgin package

Dragging up an old post, was walking through town earlier and was stopped by a virgin rep asking if I was with them. I replied with "yes, but I'm thinking of getting rid" he asked why? "Because I'm fucking sick of price hikes" and then laid out out in front of me what I thought was a fucking fantastic deal, all I have to do is cancel my existing contract (which is finished anyway) and sign back up as a new customer! He offered a free 1TB TiVo box, 2x 500GB V+ Boxes, XL TV with Movies and sports, weekend calls and 152MB BB all for £72 per month including line rental

Which is £3 a month less than what I pay now!

Just proves that existing customers just get fucked over!

i wonder if people are losing their fucking minds.

in the general scheme of things, that isnt a small amount of money by many peoples standards

a grand a year to watch fucking telly seems to be acceptable. what the fuck have we allowed ourselves to become...!

If I could find a decent HD sport streaming package I would dump the TV and just keep the BB.

BE broadband had been sold to Sky. Happened last year some time so if you are going that router you'll get a better price combining your SKy TV and broadband package.

DOh ! Just realised it's an old post.

I use a paid one about 30 a year for football mainly, better streams than skygo normally, doesn't always cover all sport though but is good enough for me, not sure I'm allowed to say on here who? I'm sure it's been talked about before but will pm who I use if you want

My thoughts exactly. Everything I watch I get online. May not even bother to renew my tv licence this year. (">
