I'm thinking Caps TBH.
Usually I wouldn't care and replace it, but seeing as this a 1080p HD LCD Monitor, I'd prefer to replace a few Caps maybe and repair it.
Works fine for longer if I turn the brightness and contrast right the way down to 0.
Turn up half way, may last 10 minutes before the screen goes black. Not standby, not off. Black.
Brightness all the way up lasts a few seconds.
Blue 'On' light is still blue.
If I leave it for a bit, so it does go into Standby (Orange Light) and wiggle the mouse, it comes back to life for a short period of time - perhaps another 10 minutes.
So far, it's been about an hour with the brightness turned right down to 0.
At first I thought the invertor board was on the way out until I managed to get it staying on for longer with brightness controls.
Thoughts?
