I am patiently waiting and trying not to root my tablet to get it.
Has anyone actually got the latest update yet on one of these...?

Yup, same as all of you lot.
Wifi model no update showing.
Chesser has it on his S3 already and that was an OTA i think.
FFS....
Come on Google, this is the whole point of having the Nexus. Getting buggy broken software first....
Not on here yet either. Can't understand why they stage it. It not like Google don't have the bandwidth or servers. With the playbook every device got offered the update at the same time.
There was a rumour they were going to update Kiltkat on the Nexus 5 this week too to bug fix.

Looking forward to having it on my 2012 3G. It'll help me decide whether I want a 2013 3G model.
not on mine yet (wi-fi 2012) either but had a good play with it on my lads nexus 5 seems spot on
Anyone with it already on should see a small bug fix update being pushed out.. had one this morning.
Tempted to side load it.
This is taking the piss, still no sign of it....
I'm a bit reluctant to even take the OTA as it's said to break VLC and MXPlayer which are what I use to watch vids on it..
however I understand XBMC still works if you disable hardware acceleration

EDIT MXPlayer now has apparently been updated to support Kitkat

I use plex for all my stuff, not hear of it breaking that, but then no-one seems to have the twat installed to be able to report it.
So I can use plex to watch vids on my nexus 7 that are resident on it? I thought it was a server solution?
maybe i'm having a senior moment LOL
