Okay just realised this is not available to mobile devices because I used a copyrighted song and youtube stops it. Changed it to a one they allow that's a million yrs old so should play. Also added the stabilization which now makes the descent look plain weird.
If nature always takes the easiest route, what's easier...?
The creation of billions of galaxies each containing trillions of stars each with their own solar systems, some with planets that have evolved civilisations with billions of different life forms. OR The creation of just your imagination?

Finally got a gimbal for the phantom, needs a few tweaks I think as it does vibrate a touch at times, although when you see the blades of the drone it kinda shows what a good job it is doing. Video is not very impressive tbh but I was just testing the gimbal out really.
Oh, and I do have my first crash at the end ...

Little bit of jello there mate but I'm sure you'll sort it out.
Great video, well done. Like the low sweeping. The crash was funny! Are you using the Vision 2's camera?

    Thanks to Zoots

Yep, its the vision camera. I have managed to reduce the shaking quite a bit compared to what it was, it's just a bit of a faff having to change settings, drive somewhere safe to test, drive back and repeat.

    Good video!

Which gimbal did you go with ? Will it fit a FC40 ?

It's an Aerial Freaks Cyclops gimbal, pretty much plug and play on the vision. They do one for the FC40 but not sure on price etc, mine worked out about £200 delivered and took a week from USA. Didn't buy it from the aerial freaks website though as it coated more from there.

Once I got the hang of my FC40 and felt safe, well as safe as you can feel, to fly off as a dot in the sky occationally looking at the delayed FPV for reasurance, the videos from the FC40 are quite good without a gimbal so long as you not doing stop, start, up, down or get caught by wind.

What I really would like to play with now is a drone with a gopro or eqivalent on a gimbal. Not sure retro fitting my FC40 is the way forward?

It also seem to me that bigger, better, more money, more weight the flight time always remains the same on one battery 10 to 15 mins. Though to be fair I'm happy to see mine back after 10 mins or so. It's long time staring with your head in the sky.

Popped up to Penshaw Monument today took a while for it to hover steady and still getting shakes, so I stuck stabilisation on in youtube options. I've had another tinker with the settings on the gimbal, will see what they are like next time I'm out.

EDIT... For some reason theres 2 mins missing off this video, will reupload to YT and update link asap.

Just went out to test my tracker really, tweaked a few settings on the gimbal to test as well (for the worse I might add).
Thought I'd post the video as I think the sunset looks quite cool...

This looks quite cool for sports etc, is there any way to get it to auto follow or circle a moving object?

You can program a route for it to follow but can't set which direction the camera points to.(yet, I'd expect a firmware update might be due to allow this)
However its very easy to contro,l so following a moving target manually would be quite easy.

It has still got a bit of a shake and when moving the camera to point straight down it sometimes spaz's out. You tube stabilisation sorts it quite well though.
