gamehelp Multiple Optical Outputs To One Headset

Looking at the Turtle Beach XP510 or the COD Ghosts Phantom - look to be the same thing but cheaper But they only have one optical input.

I've a few consoles under my telly, most with optical out, should I look into an optical splitter OR just output from the TV?

Will I miss out on much quality?

It's a high end Samsung from 2012, think it's an E8000 so should be able to output well.

Not to sure about a spliter. Im sure they have audio input, so you could use xbox one as optical and xbox 360 audio.
I tried the cod ghost phantoms thought they were shit, not as good as my x12 but i cant use the x12 at the mo, i was in the bottom left of a map while using the phantoms and could hear sound from the left and behinde me which was impossible each time i heard sound it did not come from the right direction it was coming from, i tried all settings.

    Thanks.

Shame about the Phantoms, they are meant to be the best available from Turtle Beach, or at least that's what the price eludes too!

I have a fucking nightmare with my AV, and splitters are a pain in the arse.

PS4, Sky HD, Sky f5 HD, Wii & Apple TV all with optical cables. My DVD Blueray home cinema, has one HDMI in and one Optical.

Would love some kind of amp or what ever with 5-6 HDMI inputs and 5-6 Optical inputs!

The phantoms i tried are my dads he paid £190, he told me just before that you have to upload presets for the games you wanna use them with not sure what or how he means i havent looked or read about this, so they might be just as good as x12s, you would think so due to the price tag.

    Thanks to normanji
