    Help CCTV Soloution

    Guys,

A friend of mine was broken into last week and now feels that its time to update his CCTV.

He currently has 4 quite old coax cameras that feed to a main junction box but the box does not record it just allows him to see the feed on his TV.. it just gives him live streaming of the gate, stables, kids bedroom and kitchen area.

What he wants to do is still make use of the coax cameras, add some IP cameras and feed them all back to a central point where he can record to a HD.

I am sure this seems pretty basic but I wandered if any of you guys had a similar solution or could recommend a solution.

    Man thanks

    Dale

I was recommended Securix by someone on here and I must say it has been a good brand to work with. I think you can get a package which includes 4 cameras and an 8 channel DVR so you can use it for your setup. It also allows remote viewing using an iPhone/iPad.

    Thanks to evilsatan

Email photos and upload vid to Dropbox - anything in house can get taken.

I have a wifi system with 4 cameras hanging off it all recording to a hidden pc, no wires so they would never find it.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

    Thanks to consoles

Hope your router is hidden to otherwise you'll be fucked if they find that first! Lol

yes it is although the pc is wired to it but by the time they traced the wire id have more than enough footage to hunt the fuckers down.
