Ring my doorbell!!

Missed this thread first time round...

I'm a postman, and I never ring doorbells. Read below the scenarios and try and guess which one is correct.

1) A doorbell, fantastic. I wont press it, I'll just assume they're out, I'll just pop a card through the door
2) What the fuck is that small button on that rectangular plastic thing? Better not press it, might be a bomb! I'll just pop a card through...
3) A doorbell? I used to use them, but had a 50% failure rate, what with cunts claiming they didn't hear it or it isn't working. I'll just pop a card through...
4) A doorbell? I'm not using it, if they're in the bathroom/garden/kitchen/shed they wont hear it, it might not work anyway, might as well knock REALLY FUCKING HARD (I've been told by the great public that I knock too hard - bunch of cunts) and then find out that although this is their 20th delivery this week the cunts aren't in, haven't left a note saying I can leave it with a neighbour/in the shed/over the gate so I'll just POP A FUCKING CARD THROUGH.

Ok, sensible answer time. I know this from experience but people do NOT tend to press the doorbell button long enough hence why they say it never works. They simply tap it slightly not causing the sensor to trigger the bell. Happens with my door bell, well i did before I ripped it off and flung it in the bin.
