Does anyone know where to get WHS2011? I bought a copy in December no problem, tried to buy another this month and had 4 orders cancelled as it was OOS. Looks like they all ship from the same place.

i run windows server 2012 with the original 2gb it started with and it runs fine for me as a file server and download machine (utorrent and newsleecher mainly)

personally i would put the £100 towards drives or a 2nd server thats what i did last time

Yeah I hadn't thought about that. Im not 100% sure what I'll do with it tbh. Got a 2012 serial so will put that on to start, ideally I'd like to run a couple of vms as well. Will prob do the hyper v free Microsoft exams that was on here the other week.

Buy a low profile graphics card on about 25£ and then you can use it for Xbmc too.

On the official spec, but it is well documented that there are 8gb modules are work with the unit.

I have one of the old NL40 versions of this and it is great, i had all sorts of problems with it last year crashing out. In the end i took out a memory module and it is running great on 4gb of RAM.

Rus sick beard, plex, iTunes server, tonido without a blip. And low voltage as mine is an AMD chip so the hole thing loaded is about 40w if i remember correctly.
