Speaking of €2 coins, a Thai 10 baht coin looks EXACTLY the same and even works in vending machines over here in Cyprus. When I came back from there last year I had quite a few so abused work's vending machine. 10 baht = 20 cent

Not in the vending machine I used to look after at work. Fortunately.
I would have been pissed as I never made a profit. I did it from the goodness of my heart.
It did take the shitty, fake pound coins though. But.... So did Natwest.

Yes thats right. Its a real pain in my butt having to go over and under the Thames several times a week. It was an Environmental tax when Brown was in power but now its to fund another crossing whilst a French company run the facility and extract monies from those that have to endure the crossing.
