    Hey, hey,

    Well, this course i am doing the reading materials are going to cost over £200 if i get them all - anywhere know where i can get ebooks/pdf etc? It's computer sciences and i hope a 'torrent' of you will flock to help

    It might be worth trying the newsgroups: alt.binaries.e-book.technical & so on.
    If you don't have access to the newsgroups through your ISP, you can use NZBIndex (or binsearch) to search or browse for the ebooks that you are after.
    If you find what you are after, there are plenty of usenet service providers that offer a free trial (i.e., tweaknews.eu offer a 10gb free trial & don't ask for credit card details).
    You'll also need a news reader (i.e., agent newsreader, altbinz (free), grabbit (free)...).
