    Default Playing the Race card.

I thought we'd moved on from this sort of thing tbh. I called some guy a fucking idiot because he thought it would be funny to take out a life bouy and chuck it into the water. Next thing I know, him and his missus come back with two plod because they told plod I had made 'racist comments'. Luckily there was another chap near by who seen and heard it all so coppers went away, after they bent the idiots ear about messing about with life saving equipment.

An idiot's an idiot, skin colour regardless ffs.

Should have banged em up in the cells for being dicks and wasting police time.

On a similar theme i refused to let a lass fill a car with petrol when ii was at work, mother who was driving made complaints about me being racist, didnt seem to understand the fact the kid was wearing a school uniform suggested she was 16 at best!

Gotta wonder about what goes through peoples heads when they say these things!

reminds me of an incident early last year when i was at a test center waiting for my student to come back from a driving test.
i was outside watching the mod1 motorcycle tests being done when i overheard a car test debrief, the examiner failed a candidate on a car test for mounting the kerb during a turn in the road exercise, the candidate disagreed with the decision and demanded the "boss" come and talk to him - the test center manager was actually with me watching the mod1 examiner do his stuff, he went over to the car and introduced himself to which the candidate said in a loud voice 'this examiner has failed me because i'm black' - obviously being a government agency the DSA has to take all such things very seriously and had to take the candidate inside to take statements and what not.
the best of it was, the examiner in question was of indian origin himself and is quite possibly one of the best/fairest examiners i have met.
talking to him a few days later he said that it was unfortunately quite a common occurrence and the DSA have "investigations" going on every day due to accusations of racism.
just think of the money and manpower wasted due to these kind of things just within the DSA?

In the UK for certain we harp on about equal opportunities and political correctness, and in this day and age rightly so,

Therefore if someone is White, Black, Chinese etc then why is it a crime to use such a word to describe them and why an issue?

For example, you see a crime take place and it is a Black person. You report it to the Police and state 'I saw a Black Person wearing whatever and doing whatever.' Is this racist?
Should the Police intervene and take action against you? Should the whole thing be dropped as a result?
No because these are terms used by police themselves. These are terms used on application forms and the likes : 'Are you Black, White.....'

BUT, same crime taking place and you shout 'Stop you Black {X}'... Your in the wrong. We have manufactured this problem. Put focus on it so that people use it in the 'wrong way'.

There is an argument of giving these 'racist terms' everything from having nothing.

This argument keeps coming up and it will continue to do so. I feel in my life time I will not witness a change in attitude. It's a case of move on, nothing to see.

I guess because I'm tall white and gangly if I had to describe someone that was the same as me id focus on the things that are different such as clothes etc. If I had to describe someone that looks different to ne I'd focus on those, such as he was fat, ginger, black, blonde, one leg, big head etc. It should be ok to describe someone as being black but if you must to be politically correct I try and use another word first.

Surely the term often used 'Afro Carribean' is as racist as 'Black' too?

Let's not turn this into a thread where white men are demanding justice from society.

Also, to see a whole race referred to as 'they' or 'em' as though they are all the same is shameful. Just because one black person plays the race card, doesn't make every black person a race card playing cunt.

A cunt is a cunt, no matter what race he or she is.

Can we close this thread because it's evidently going to turn to shite.

But it's much more fun to watch idiots fall over themselves with hypocritical statements; then we can ban them and then close the thread.

    I'm not racist but...

I'm enjoying this thread. A lot of chips on shoulders.

Since when did it become racist to describe somebody as black?

It depends how and when it is used, but should it?

If i was being a twat and someone called me a Welsh twat then I would accept it because they were speaking the truth. I am Welsh and I have been a twat. If someone however said to me that all you welsh people are twats then I would not accept it because that would be racist.

I can however see the point in the argument here. Why do you feel the need to add the word Welsh or Black or anything else that describes the race or colour. Why not just call them a twat or a bastard if they deserve that description. Why associate the derogatory term with the race or colour, because in a way you are saying that they are that way because of their race or colour.

Anyone that has ever privately thought of someone, or actually called someone, a black bastard or a welsh twat or anything of that sort can't honestly tell me they were not in some way associating the persons behaviour with the persons race or colour. (">

I encountered that type of low intellect on many occasions whilst in the Army.
It was was fuck all to do with race but just thick cunts in general, shockingly there are masses of them but we tend to call them dyslexic now.

Never used to cease to amaze me, when I came home on leave and every cunt in the pub wanted to tell me they knew someone in the Army.

"My mate is in the army and his name is John, do you know him ?"

To which I just used to reply "Does he wear green clothes and a Frank Spencer hat ?"
Some cunts don't even deserve National minimum wage because they aren't even capable of wiping their own arses.

We are surrounded by thick cunts who forever want to shout shit from the roof tops because loud means it must be right.

In the seventies we didn't have dyslexia

    we had
