Help Which torrent client for N54L?

Now that I've got my N54L micro server set up with 2012 essentials and upgraded my ram and drives etc I'm ready to think about how I'm going to do my downloading.

I normally browse for torrents on my Ubuntu Laptop and I want to copy the torrent over to a mapped drive that a torrent client is watching. uTorrent can do this but it just doesn't work so I wanted to use another client that actually works.

So can anyone recommend one that works?

Also I've been thinking that it might be safer/convenient to have a vm that I snapshot after building and use that to do my torrent browsing as if I do manage to get an virus I can just revert it. I'm a bit worried about running uTorrent on the server and infecting the actual server!

So how do you lot do it?

Not really interested in using newsgroups at the moment either, I used to use it but sick of all the incomplete downloads.

Always used uTorrent TBH, but you may want to try this: http://www.qbittorrent.org/

I use transmission on my mybook live but as I haven't got my drives yet for my n54 I haven't looked at setup just yet for that.

Another vote for transmission. Can be used headless. Has a web interface and remote GUIs for most os's including android.
Very nice piece of software for my needs.

Oh and I run it on both a windows n54l and a xpenology n54l , the windows one doesn't get a lot of use though as my other is on 24hrs.

    Thanks to CBRboy

Transmission for Ubuntu and BitTorrent for Windows. BitTorrent is practically the same as uTorrent, only better.
I used uTorrent up til recently, since the latest version has been causing me headaches with not connecting to certain trackers (due to the trackers banning it for DHT/PEX getting information wrong).

I've just installed BitTorrent and watched folders works a treat. Odd why it didn't work for uTorrent though as it looks like the same program. It works though so I'm happy with that. Cheers for all the suggestions
